A chance for people to consider some of the big questions facing Aotearoa New Zealand right now from a Christian faith perspective.
‘Thriving in this Land’ is a workshop series created by Common Grace Aotearoa designed to help us join the dots between following Jesus and some of the big issues New Zealand is facing.
In collaboration, Island Bay Presbyterian, St Hilda’s Anglican and Wellington South Baptist are taking the opportunity to explore some of the big issues of our time and consider how God is calling us to respond.
Across three 90-minute open and collaborative sessions, we’ll explore how as a nation we can address poverty and the cost of living, respond to our unstable climate, and honour the Treaty. We’ll engage with theology, and hear from experts and people on the ground. We’ll discuss how to work towards a nation where everyone has enough, our earth is protected, and our promises are kept.
